Purpose of Bill:
To establish that certain provisions of law authorizing the use of speed monitoring systems in certain residential districts apply in Baltimore County; requiring all speed limit signs within certain segments of certain highways in Baltimore County include certain signs; and generally relating to speed monitoring systems in Baltimore County.
Proposed Effective Date: October 1, 2023

Next Steps After Passing Authorization
As with Montgomery, Prince Georges, and Anne Arundel counties, once our Baltimore County State Delegates and Senators pass our authorization, our County Government will then have the authority they need to partner with communities interested in Speed Safety Cameras.
